Crouch was supposed to meet me here & play a game of gold this AM but he failed to do so. Have relaxed from writing & everything else & it has seemed good to rest. Played golf in evening & to show  with Rearden

[[underlined]] July 28, 1932. [[/underlined]] Another article on P. Gopher for Oregonian & routine office work
[[underlined]] July 29, 1932 [[/underlined]] Work on Thallium material, and other routine
July 30. 1932 Lv. Portland 600 AM to Mt Hood forest to check over meadows which I've been watching for years on pocket gopher work. The abundant moisture of this year had produced such a great amt of vegetation that gopher working are obscured Rodents still present on plots but effect on vegetation very indefinite. Climbed to summit Ollalie Butte & had fine view of Cascades from Rainier to Three Sisters
July 31, 1931. Returned home & visited with Mrs E.E. Horn balance of the day.
