[[underlined]] Aug 7, 1932 [[/underlined]] Our 20th wedding anniversary. We left Bedford at 800 AM visited Crater Lake & thence down to Diamond Lake lodge in evening. Saw C. A Howard & checked several plots of Ingrams & also the pesky control works near Prospect.

Fish a short time in AM & then checked Gopher control plots at Diamond Lake - the Forest Seed plots near edge of Crater NF and thence on over McKensie pass two broods of [[check mark]] yg [[underlined]] barrows Golden Eyes [[/underlined]] Diamond L.

[[underlined]] Aug 9, 1932. [[/underlined]] At office 10[[underlined]] 00[[/underlined]] AM. correspondence and consideration of various matters with Jewett. Some work on Birds of Oregon. Mrs Merrill in for a short time & Mr. Williams of Personel office in Washington D.C.
