Left camp Fish Lake Valley 8:00 AM - to Tonopah & to camp at Pine Creek Ranch at 4:00 PM. 8000 ft alt cold & windy. Much better range country. Met Lee Brotherton trapper who seems a good boy & clean cut appearance.
Birds scarce all day as a group

8. Horned Lark everywhere quite common
9. Sage Sparrow well distributed
