With Henderson to Tule Lake & visited with Worcester for a while. Looked over refuge & saw many thousand white fronted & snow geese. Also myriads of coot- many avocets and a few mallards & pintails. Left Klamath at 530 PM arrived Redmond 930 PM.

Called at Sankey's home & found him in Ontario. Left Redmond at 830 AM & traveled for home stopping at various points as well to look over birds without finding much. Arrived Portland saw John & home at 800 PM.

To the nursery in AM.. go over accumulated business and then home to dinner & an interview with T.D. Kirkpatrick. Later out
to old place to try straightening out mess and had no luck. John had stirred up 
the animals too much.

At office all day- mail & accumulated reports.
Oct 18, 1932 The office all day-mail etc. Left home [[strikethrough]] Oct 19, 1932 [[/strikethrough]] at 500 PM, to Devils Lake with Clara & Horace arriving at 1000 PM.
Oct 19, 1932. Shingled south side of house & fished a while Clara catching one fish. Worked on Thallium article.
[[underlined]] Oct 20, 1932 [[/underlined]], Finished house. Fished a while and returned home arriving 930 PM.
Saw following birds at house in 2 days.
(1) Western Grebe 2
(2) Horned Grebe sev.
(3) Pied billed grebe 3-4
(4) [[Hoelboells?]] grebe 1
