Left Spokane 900 AM and traveled to Cheny where we conferred with Leonard Morris and Dr. Bernard who spoke very highly of Morris & work. Promised to help on the legislative program. Then with couch thru Sprague - Ritzville - Ellensburg to Yakima arriving 600 PM. Cold - windy & stormy day. Saw several [[underlined]] golden eagles [[/underlined]] & 4 [[underlined]] Northern Shrikes - Magpies [[/underlined]] & [[underlined]] Horned Larks [[/underlined]] only other birds & they were scarce. Wrote notes & worked on papers thru evening.

Wool Growers Convention - meet Sears, Coffin, Drumheller. McWhorter etc. Hales Lenardo etc. Also Newcomer.

Same at above - Wool Growers passed a resolution but Drumheller lukewarm. Attended banquet in evening.

Left Yakima at 900 AM and arrive Portland 600 PM after bucking a howling blizzard all way. To dinner at Berry's.
