Gusts of wind & snow squalls. Saw following birds (1) American Merganser c in river & also lake on Govt Island. (2) Mallard. Abundant both on river & lake 3. Gull winged Teal c on river & lake. 4. Pintail few on river 5. Glaucous winged gull. c on river 6. Herring Gull 2 killed of this species. This note subject to confirmation. 7. California Gull (1) collected. 8. Short billed Gull 3 collected 9. Western Red Teal 1 10. Western Crow abundant 11. Raven 1 12. Gairdner woodpecker 2 13. Rusty song sparrow 1 14. Oregon chickadee several 15. Great blue heron Collected 9 gulls identified as follows short billed 3
