In office all day. Had two teeth pulled and then home where I felt too rotten to go to the Ike walton meeting.
Jan 27, 1933.
In office all day feeling pretty bum but worked on birds of Oregon anyway. In evening at home with kids.

Left home 4:30AM accompanied by Leichhardt and John Carter and traveled to Delake - thence to Netarts, Bay Ocean and home again at 9:30 P.M. Saw Wheelock and Dr. Logan, [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] Edner at Netarts and Tommy Carmen at Tillamook.
Bucked snow (10 inches on Salmon River cutoff) all morning and snow entirely down to tide water. Coming in at night bucked  heaviest rainstorm I've [[strikethrough]] in some time.
Very wonderful bird day altogether. 
Saw as follows at DeLake, Ore
1. Red legged Kittiwake 1 found dead on beach  first for U.S.
2. Horned Puffins 6-8 dead on beach
3. Tufted Puffins 6-8 dead on beach
4. Marbled Murrelet 1 dead on beach
5. Western Gull (c)
6. Glaucous winged gull (c)
7. Song sparrows c. on beach
8. Hermit Thrush 1 on beach
9. Robin (c)  10 Cal. Murre Co on beach
