June 2, 1933
Lv. Hermiston 745 AM and go via Shaniko & Maupin to Portland over the Wapinita cut off arriving 300 pm.
Anemone oregana in bloom on cutoff as also was Amica cordifolia. 
Arrived home & found Frank A. Ashton of Vancouver B.C. to meet me. Went to a dinner at Berry's in his honor & then later in the evening to see Adolf Mueller at the Benson Hotel returned home at midnight
June 3, 1933
Met Mr. Mueller (Norristown Pa and chairman of Pa Game Commission) and took him about town. also met Mr. Ashton & sold Mueller plants. Gave Ashton some in exchange for some of his rarer brooms. Home at 1100 pm.
June 4, 1933
At home in am. resting. working in garden & then to nursery working on a catalogue. Planting plants etc.
June 5, 1933
In office all day caring for accumulated mail. At home in evening working on morraine garden.
June 6, 1933
Same as above exactly and in addition catalogued the birds taken on last trip
June 7, 1933.
at office. Lunch with Stuart Holbrook and in office generally. Met Theo Albert at the nursery at 500 pm. and finished catalogue with John
