In office in morning.  Worked at home all the afternoon on birds of Oregon.  Evening the same.

Aug 18, 1935.
Worked all morning and up to 3.00P.M. on the same & then to office to work with chief on Wild Life Committee Report.  To dinner with him in evening at Miss Watsons apt.

Aug 19, 1935
Worked all day in office & on Birds of Oregon at night.  Quit at midnight when eyes tired out.

Aug 20, 1935
Same schedule exactly as yesterday.

Aug 21, 1935
More of the same progressing very nicely on birds of Oregon.  Have gotten so I can check from 50 to 100 pages in an evening.

Worked in office all morning.  At noon picked up Coltain, Dr Fisher & Clagget[[?]] & hit it out for Wachapreague arriving at 7.30P.M. just in time to eat my first soft shelled crabs.

Aug 25, 1935.
Strong wind & heavy surf prevented our offshore excursion so we fished inside the inlet.  Caught a number of croakers, a few weakfish etc.  I played & landed a 50# sturgeon
