June 3, 1936
Saw Julian Byrd & visited him. Also went to Pasco with Jewett. Raining & foggy all day and arrived at Pasco 6:00PM.
June 4, 1936
Arrive at Paradise Mont at [[writeover]] 6 [or] 1 [[/writeover]] 11:45am & Leo met me at train. To Bison range & look over Pablo & Nine Pipe refuges with Leo & Dr. Norton. Saw numerous broods of little [[underlined]]mallards [[/underlined]]. Also [[?]] pairs of [[underlined]]Redheads[[/underlined]], Cinnamon Teal, Shovellers & [[underlined]]Gadwall[[/underlined]]. To top of range in Bison Range and saw five mountain sheep - lots of elk & mule deer, and a number of Buffalo. Also saw 8 white tails along creek.
June 5, 1936
Over Bison Range with Norton, Leo & the CCC. captain. Range is getting into good physical equipment stage. Grass coming back and we had a nice trip. Saw the buffalo herd. At noon met Forest Service & Sportsmens crowd at Missoula and then came on to Helena with MacDonald & Leo. Nice visit and hope I did some good.

Not sure if time of arrival on June 4, 1936 is correct. (@AntelopeWest) Well, it's probably not 61:45, so I think you're right. There's now no train service directly to anywhere close to Paradise, so it's hard to figure out his schedule.
