Oct 11, 1936 Worked in attic all morning. Crouch & Furness took me to Baltimore where I joined with Lee Lecompt, Norris & Jack Cochrane on a trip to Harrisburg, arrived at 6:00 AM Oct 12, 1936 Up an on at 8:00 AM to Penn State training school. Made a talk with chattering teeth but I was no worse off than Gen Earle or Major Biddle. Boys 32 of them were bright alert looking lads that had apparently accomplished a lot in a few months. It is indeed a far cry from the pool room loafer type of game warden of a few years back. Weather cold. Left at 3:00 with Crouch & Furness and drove back to Bedford Pa at 9:00 P.M. Oct 13, 1936 Up and off by 8:00 AM & arrived at Washington 1:30 PM. Worked in office in PM & then to house where we had [[Wichens?]] to Dinner. Took 12:35 AM train to NY. Oct 14, 1936 Arr New York 5:30 AM to Lexington Hotel and see Davis & Carl Shoemaker. Went to Scientific American office and visited Munn. Talked to group of American Wildlife Institute. Including many brass hats. Saw Norman Tayler & Bob [[Lewin?]] & took train home at 6:30 PM arr Wash 11:00 PM. Oct 15, 1936 Busy at office. Learned that the dynamite we put under the Chrysler case succeeded in blasting it loose at last.
