   He made me mad but I held my temper & after learning all about it Im glad I didn't Waxed new basement floor.

   In office all day and dictated in the afternoon to get a lot of stuff taken care of that had been on my desk for days. Had the gang in for a party for a time this evening on our new floor.
Feb 7, 1937
   Tired today and didn't do much but clean up the house and go to the Corcoran art gallery with the kids. Came home & loafed in recreation room.
Feb 8, 1937
   In office all day & my gosh what a hectic day. The telephone rang constantly and Mrs J. spent most of her time [[strikethrough]] ? [[/strikethrough]] calling "on the other phone" Talked to Pittman-McNary- Mrs Pierce etc. Home in evening for a chance to work.

   In office all day general office work. Working on speech for conference at St. Louis & also for New York Sports writer assn.
Feb 10, 1937
   Again in office all day. Lots of work and plenty of callers on many matters. No chance to work.

   Same as yesterday only more so. Jewett came today and we had a talk in ffice
