July 19 - 1937
   Iris & Jean went with me to east shore of lake.  Not many birds & returned at 9:30 AM.  Went to village & Maniwaki to get battery charged in car, got home at 1:30 PM.

3.   Redstart (20 quite a migration evidently)
4    White throated Sparrow  2
5.   Song Sparrow  4
6.   Olive backed Thrush  2
7.   Red eyed Vireo  4
8    Downy Woodpecker  1

11   Goldfinch  2
12   Ovenbird  1
13.  Chestnut sided Warbler  1
14.  Savannah Sparrow  2
15   Phoebe  2     17. Red breasted Nuthatch 2
16.  Wood Pewee  1
Swam in afternoon & made up two birds including a Myrtle I shot at home
July 20, 1937
   Left at seven & rowed to village.  Returned at 11:30 AM after circling lake in car.  Robins, Bobolinks, Starlings & Meadowlark were bunched thru the open country & hedgerows.  Saw following
