In returning it in Sept. 1929 S. Perkins says : "It seems to me to belong certainly to the species which in my papers in EMM. I called [[underlined]] A. vittatus [[/underlined]], which seems to vary much in colour & size. This is the species I formerly called [[underlined]] dubiosus [[/underlined]] n. sp. in my earlier attempts at a 'table', because at that time I considered the species I now call [[underlined]] cameroni [[/underlined]] to be [[underlined]] vittatus [[/underlined]], Lep. & I suppose both forms have been included under the latter name, but the saws and other character are different on your individual I compared & found it to be practically identical with a specimen in the Chitty coll. at Oxford. Chitty's specimen is labelled "leucolenus," I suppose by Morice, but this must be entirely wrong".
