Gun and paddle, sled and snowshoe,
     Have my playmates been,
Mouse and rabbit, fish and venison
     Has my slender larder seen.

   Acid berries from the marshes
     Greatest luxuries were,
   Gathered where the reindeer passes
And close lurks the grizzly bear

Turn in after passing Lofka's and sleep till about twenty five miles below, drifting down slowly. Wake up near an Indian camp where we stop for tea & buy a few fish, see a girl with a sable parkie on. As we go down the Indian paddles seem to be made smaller and smaller. Banks low E side, hilly gravel W side.
10 miles lower W side hills, 100 ft. of quartzose granitic rock NW 5°_ in layers. Also a little green & black
