Go out after breakfast with Everett Smith and pick berries on the hill back of the Fort. Find many mushrooms and berries Cloudy but doesn't rain. Back + look over a lot of newspapers containing some notices of the Exp. etc. Afternoon go out with Stepanoff to collect mushrooms + walk. His woman who will soon be in the straw went with us. He says that if the ships do not come in ten days he shall have to shut down on giving us grub, for his supply is small
The mushrooms are of two kinds, both flavorless + inferior to those we have at home.
