Tuesday Apr. 15
Start early in the A.M. & go to Saucelito in the 8.30 boat with the Misses Brannan & Mr. Wiener, Return about 4 P.M. see Baker, go to Watkins & office, Meet Fred Whymper on the street & in P.M. go to Stearns.

Wednesday 16
Call at Carmany's, Cole's and up to office with Baker. then down to vessel and spend P.M. attending to various jobs. ordering provisions & coal etc. Evening call on Capt. Noyes.

Thursday 17
See Edwards & Rey. down to office working on accounts at noon down to Bucknams
