Sunday June 29
Morning foggy & rainy wind SE fresh. beat in to Kyska Harbor & anchor about 10 A.M. P.M. cloudy go ashore & examine for locating signals. A fine harbor with long sand beaches & pleasant valleys about it. Many birds. A deserted aleut village used during the hunting season by natives brought from Atka; & 1 wooden house. Find good pickings on the beach & return. See a raven & plenty of eiders Get an egg of Thal. Leachii.

Monday June 30
Morning and afternoon thick and densely foggy. About noon sun comes out for a while the sky being very clear above the fog. P.M. wind mod. NE. Spend the day in setting up signals. 

Tuesday July 1
Dense fog all day. Wind light & variable with heavy swell from outside. Put collections in order & skin birds. write up reports for month of June -
