Morning cloudy wind very light get a few slight drops of rain Spend day running shoreline on Hog Island & taking angles  Batushka dines with us

Cloudy wind light in A.M. fresh in P.M. from W ward. go to the Eida village and take angles from Eider [[symbol triangle]] with Capt Herendeen Baker Noyes & Bailey ascend the volcano the top of which is however wrapped in fog which obscures our view of the crater & bay  Returning 2 P.M.
