Ex Herbarium of Rev. A.B. Langlois. Purchased by the Dept of Agriculture Aug. 23, 1901 H. Lojka Lichenoth[eca] Univ[ersalis] Nr. 133 Fasc. III (1886). Phlyctis Neo-Zelandiae (Nyl.) Kn. v tenuis Knight Tr. from Latin: In shady locations upon the bark of trees near Wellington Collection date will be after Nov. 1845 as that's when Knight arrived in NZ and more than likely from mid 1865 which is when he moved to Wellington. http://www.teara.govt.nz/en/biographies/1k14/knight-charles (@AntelopeWest) The Collection Dates entered cover the years Knight is known to have collected in the Wellington New Zealand area. (@siobhanleachman) I've edited the dates @AntelopeWest as the knowledge out there on the internet on his collecting is quite sparse. He might have travelled to Wellington at any time after his arrival in NZ so I've put the potential collecting dates ranging from his known arrival in NZ to the publication date of the work which cites this specimen. Also we've been instructed via @transcribeSI to leave the USNH number blank where there is no number and there won't be any for Lichens.
