the next we had several barrels, all edible. so we filled our Frigidair. and on our return to the harbour we gave the rest to our friends. This enabled us to understand the handling of it in the North. Dr. Schmitt really gave me this idea and when I told Bassett he was immediately sold as well. We hoped to get fish in the far North. After two days around Nantucket and with the three of our Lads on board that couldn't join us leaving City Island we left Nantucket for Brigus, Arriving there in good time the quickest passage ever we made. We landed the Jersey and the Turkies and thence to Labrador We were fortunate in reaching one of the many fine harbours on this coast, in it, we put over a hard gale of N.E. wind; and a very heavy sea. From here I went to [[strikehthrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] Godhavn. Disco Island West Greenland.
