The Atlapetes stayed low, 1 - 4 feet up. In scrub. Particularly bamboo.

[[left margin in red]] Albi [[/left margin]]

[[underlined]] The Albi, rather surprisingly, stayed in trees,[[/underlined]] 10 - 25 ft up. The Whitestart CXXVII also in trees, probably approximately same level. The Brown Whitestart stayed low in scrub and also flycatched from ground. The creeper was seen only on tree trunks, 10 - 15 ft up. The Bright Ruddy flycatched at all levels 2 - 25 ft up. Other flycatcher seen only in small tree, 10 ft up.

Group as a whole very noisy. Chlorophonias uttering lots of nasal notes. Probably also thinner, higher "CN"s. Constantly [[underlined]] fighting among themselves.[[/underlined]] Lots of chasing back and forth. The Yellowbellies were quiet or silent. The Atlapetes also were noisy. Lots of loud "Greetings". (Actually, I think that there was at least 1 individual more than a single family group of the species present)

[[left margin in red]] Albi [[/left margin]]

The [[male symbol]] Albi uttered occasionally R's, NODWAH, but was generally quiet. The Brown Whitestart was apparently silent.

[[left margin in red]] Thalass [[/left margin]]

The CXXVII Sang several times. Always NODWAH, [[underlined]] except [[/underlined]] for Thalass in background. (Thalass may also have overlapped Albi R's, but I am not sure about this.) The Bright Ruddy uttered R's. The other flycatcher seemed to be silent. The creeper also seemed to be silent.

The 2 Whitestarts were never close together.

All or most of the species seemed to be picking up insects in their various ways. (The only probably exception were the Chlorophonias. But I couldn't see what they were eating, if anything.)

In spite of their number and conspicuousness, the Chlorophonias seemed to be only [[underlined]] minimally [[/underlined]] nuclear. Rather higher in
