[[newspaper clipping]]
--The celebrated African traveler, Dr. Livingstone, sailed from the Mersey on Wednesday, in the steamer Pearl, for the scene of his labors. Among the gentlemen who accompany Dr. Livingstone are a botanist, a geologist, and an artist who goes out for the purpose of sketching the country, its people, animals, and plants. The best wishes of the scientific and commercial world accompany this brave and indefatigable man.
