Sat. eve June 9/60 IX o'clock
The "George Henry" is now skimming the waters like a bird, a relief from the drunkin [[?]] she has kept
the two days preceeding - 
Thursday night we lost company with the "Rescue" & have not seen her since. Shall probably not see again her till we arrive at the appointed place of rendevvous, Holsteinberg Greenland, when the Capt. says we shall spend the Fourth of July.
Five days now at sea - more miserable ones it would be difficult to imagine than they have been to me. Why? sick - sea sickness.
