The sight on the mountains (Ki-Ki-tuk-ju-a) the Rabbit - the scenery -

VII-25 opposite the middle end of Bay extending 4 or 5 miles deep perhaps much deeper.  The character of land changes - rough red rock on one side & evidently smooth grassy low land on N. side by C.

How gloriously fine is every thing around now.  The Sun throwing its subdued light & its warmth all around.  The smooth waters - the dark & White Mts. of K-gaite stretching away to the still very distant point - the red Mts. on opposite or side we are - the thin white clouds all mirrored too.  Ki-a (man's Boat) at our left - the other outside, 1/2 mile off even with us & going same direction.  The

The evenness of K. (Kin-gaite) side could not find a single peak on wh. to rest the [[symbol: Sun]] - had to take a Drift of snow that had a tail like a Comet!  The ice & the Flag of our Country.

VII-55 (7) | Charley (Koo-per-neu-ung) seeing Ook-gook away to the left takes the Ki-a of Miner & proceeds awhile
