a few small pieces Sea-bread in cold water - then added Molasses & ate it. But it did not go with the usual relish. Toward night, good Twer-oong came in to see me, bringing along the pretty China tea saucer heaping full of golden Salmon, smoking hot! The very sight of it made me better! An hour after Meridian, Koo-per-neu-ung brought down the Ook-gook he shot yesterday near the Falls. (He towed it down with Ki-a). It is a fine one. As the men Innuits drew it upon the grassy knoll where is our Tupik, I crawled out to see & measure it. [[underlined]] Nine feet long & 6 feet in circumference.
