all his right, title and interest in the invention of which the above model shall be a copy, for the full term of years for which a patent may be granted by the United States And the said T. Henry Tibbles party of the first part further agrees to use his best efforts to obtain a patent upon said invention from the United States
And the said  T. Henry Tibbles party of the first part agrees to pay and hereby binds and obligates himself to pay to the said B F Berry and J S Funuk all the expense incured in endeavoring to obtain a patent for said invention provided no patent is obtained and the United States should refuse to grant the petition for said patent.
And the said B F Berry, and J S Funk parties of the second part agree to pay to the said T. Henry Tibbles party of the first part the sum of two hundred dollars upon the the delivery of the articles named in the former part of this agreement And the said B F Berry and J S Funk further agree to pay all costs of obtaining a patent upon said invention
