Sirs:

Your statement that you have received no benefit from funds collected for grazing on your reservation, is contrary to the facts.

Mr. Ashley, who was elected by the Omahas [[slight tear in page in crease]] to collect this money, handed Agent Wilkinson seven hundred and twenty dollars and fifty-five cents ($720.55), five hundred and fifty-seven dollars and fifty cents ($557.50), of which, was expended by him, at the request of the Omahas, in the purchase for them of
