"For Prize Contest"

Burpee's seed gives me pleasure from the moment I select and plant them; - for I know if given half a chance they will germinate. I frequently say if was possible I would think two plants came from one seed.

They not only produce strong plants, they bloom and come true to description.

My flower garden is small, has northern exposure and partly shaded; but is a mass of blooms from early spring until frost.

I supply our home and three families with flowers and give a just many to the sick, - which is a just pleasure. And, oh! the joy of working
