What Burpee's Seeds Have Done for me.
As a little girl I took great interest in the many seed catalogs and helping make up our order. And when I wanted some of the "novelties", Mother would say, "Well look it up in Burpees see what he has to say of it. I notice he tells the truth about a thing, doesn't recommend it unless he knows its good."
Now who can tell the value such example of the truth of the old motto "Honesty is the Best Policy" -to a child's mind?
Right there I found his seed book a real guide not just an advertisement Since moving to this west (Washington) I have grown Burpee's seeds often enough to know they are just as true here as back home.
