For Prize Contest.

W. Atlee Burpee Co., Seed Growers,
Philadelphia.

Gentlemen,

It has been great pleasure and profit that I have gained for twenty-five years in using Burpee's Seeds. The seed have been reliable from every standpoint. I have been able to get high germination, true variety, and well developed plants from them.

I have sold vegetables on city markets for number of years and most of them were grown from your seed. These vegetables in grade, demand, and price compare above the average with others.

I have won many prizes from South Carolina State Fair and other fairs which has brought me many congratulations and thousands of dollars. It has given me advertisement over this and adjoining states. I have won four second and eight first premiums, on one farm displays, three second and six first on vegetable displays, three hundred and fifty premiums on single exhibits in the field crop department, and two hundred in Horticulture Department. The greater part of these exhibits were grown from your seed.

Burpee's Seeds give good gardens, delicious vegetables for the table, beautiful flower gardens, good sales on public markets, good field crop and make prize winners at fairs.
