To the W Atlee Burpee Co I am obligated for awakening in me a real gardening spirit and for twenty five years sustaining that spirit with an ever increasing enthusiasm.

You production have placed before me an exalted Standard of excellence and made me dissatisfied with anything but the best.

Your seeds throbbing with vitality,quality and purity have been a challenge to my very best effort in soil preparation and cultivation and unconsciously thoroughness ^[[has]] characterized my activities.

They have spelled for me Success in the keenest prize competition and in the home delighted the most fastidious tastes and in a hundred and one ways have brought to me real pleasure and unbounded satisfaction.

In pursuing my hobby I have been kept one hundred percent fit physically. I have been led to more fully recognise and more intelligently co-operate with the Laws of Nature and aided in my knowledge of
