For Prize Contest

Just an ordinary city lot, but the garden is the joy and delight of my life: and Burpee's seeds have helped wonderfully to make it a beauty spot, and me a happy woman. All around me I see evidence of nature's marvelous results, in bringing from a tiny seed,
a blooming fragrant plant: and these same wonderful plants have come from Burpee's seeds.

Perennials - stately Larkspur; Caudidum Lillies; Sweet Williams; Shasta Daisies; fragrant Pinks-come up every spring, ready to greet me.

Then my annuals - each year a delight to study Burpee's catalogue, and try something new; and the helpful leaflets, which have aided immeasurably in bringing my plants and vegetables to perfection.

And Oh! The wonderful Golden Bantam corn; Little Marvel peas, etc! One could hardly believe how much can be raised on a small plot, and the delight of fresh vegetables, and the restfulness of working amongst plants you have raised from seed - watching them develop until you feel as if they are almost as your own children! Burpee's seeds have helped to make a lovely garden, amongst the noise and bustle of a big city; and the writer a happy, healthy, contented woman.
