Of course I had my worries with insects, and blight; but perhaps this added to my character and developed patience

The brotherhood of man, though fraternalism was made manifest by the exchange of plant: or gladly sharing my vegetables and flowers
with friends. It seemed as if every growing thing brought a wider vision of Nature, whose teachings will continue to develop with memory.
