In 1923 I was compelled to get out of salt air for my health and bought a small one man farm near Saratoga Springs New York, and was told when I went their, May 1st, 1923 that ho one who had ever lived there could grow anything on that place, _ mustard excepted.

From a plot sixty feet by a hundred and six plowed June 3rd, I supplied a family of nine people with garden truck all summer, my wife and daughter canned over seven hundred cans of beets, beans, tomatoes, carrots, peas etc. And I put four bushel of carrots, two bushel of beets and one of onions in the cellar besides what I sold and gave away.

The proof of the pudding is that eating and B. U. R. P. E. E. spells proof.
