Some years ago, when we bought a farm, a neighbor advised us to get our cabbage seed from the W. Atlee Burpee Co. as their seed always came true to name. For convenience sake we ordered all our garden and truck seed from the Burpee Catalog. We took our fine results as a matter of course until one year for some reason we wanted our cabbage seed in a hurry and bought it from a local seed store.

The seed germinated well, and the plants were fine -  but you should have seen that field! Instead of all that Dutch there was every kind from Early Jersey Wakefield [[strike]] to [[/strike]] and a red variety, to Brussle's Sprouts! After that we  mad our plans
