FOR PRIZE CONTEST.

What Burpee's Seeds Have Done foe Me.

W. Atlee Burpee Co.,
Philadelphia, Pa.

Gentlemen:

The sweet pea seeds I had from you have given me the greatest amount of happiness that I ever received from flowers. All the superlatives I know, fail to describe the beauty of these sweet peas. My people say that I almost worship them, and it is a fact that I sit and look at the flowers I pick and my pride and satisfaction are almost unbounded. The beautiful and unusual shades, the wonderful stems and the beautiful flowers, three and four on a stem are simply marvelous. I give them to my friends who exclaim at their size and beauty. They have seen sweet peas, but they are not in the same class. I have given quantities away and am now selling to out florist, as well, so adding profit to my other joys.

To sum it all up, these seeds have been a joy from the time I planted them myself and cultivated them, thus getting into the fresh air and sunshine, until the harvest time when I am reaping the joys of basking in their beauty, giving them to friends, and receiving the profits, which I hope to use for more Burpee's seeds next season.

Sincerely yours,
