To whom this letter may be presented:
      It gives me great pleasure to say a word in behalf of the Ponca Indians whom Mr. T. H. Tibbles has been endeavoring to aid in securing the common rights of humanity.  These poor people have been robbed of their property and denied the right of "life liberty and the pursuit of happiness," by wicked and designing men
