My Dear Mr Farwell
         This will introduce to you [[underline]] Mr. T. H. Tibbles [[/underline]] of Omaha Neb who is here in the interest of the [[underline]] Ponca Indians [[/underline]].  I have been exceedingly interested in his story, & the purpose which has brought him here.  How to further that purpose & help secure these poor victims of the outrageous mismanagement of Indian affairs, from further oppression, is the question at issue.  I have said to Mr T. that I thought a public meeting in [[Tazwell?]] Hall endorsed by some of you well known citizens
