Friend
I have no one to look to, and so every day I remember together with your wife. When men are relatives they advise one another and look to each other for information. And you have told me to be quiet and stay still - and so I have done. And though I know you are not rich yet I thought to tell you I am needing some implements. We Poncas are in a great hurry for houses and school and church. Though I have no plows, I am determined to sow some wheat. Sitting Bull, as well as those at lower Brule and Spotted Tails wish to see you. If you are coming to see them let me know
