My dear Mr. Tibbles,
I have seen both Prof. Calvert and Mrs. Franklin regarding the matter of needed contributions. The historical department will make some effort to procure government aid, but it is uncertain [[underlined]] if [[/underlined]] and [[underlined]] when [[/underlined]] anything can be obtained. Mrs. Franklin said that most of the Folk Lore Society's members are out of town, and that nothing could be done before the regular meeting in the fall. Mrs. Franklin herself is about to leave Lincoln for good. She will not find time to go up to the Reservation.
If i can arrange it so, I shall go up for a few days, if only to see something of the Indian camping life.
My kind regards to Mrs. Tibbles
Very truly yours
A.H. Edgren.
