My dear Sir
      In the address read by Miss LaFlesche last evening, occurred the following passage, presumably prepared under your eye. "Owing to the kindness of the Indian Ring the Tribe (Poncas) don't get half of what the Government gives them."
  As ch'm of the Purchasing Com. of the Board of Indian Commissioners, I have to request that you will furnish me with any facts in your possession which
