My vegetable garden 30 by 50 feet, I have fertilized, spaded, planted and cultivated myself.
I planted Danvers Onions, Hollow Crown Parsnips, Columbia Beets, Green-pod String Beans, Leviathan Pole Beans, New [[stamp over word 'new' in purple ink reading AUG 13 1924]] Philadelphia and Fordhook improved Bush Limas, Matchless Tomatoes, Cucumbers and Summer Squash. The season was late, but all seeds germinated and plants are doing well, in spite of the drouth [sic] through July.
