A Favor Requested

We feel sure that you have some friends who, like yourself, are interested in gardening. As a favor to them and to us we wish to ask-if not too much trouble- that you give us, upon the other side of this sheet, the names and addresses of your friends who take an interest and pride in their gardens.

As a slight acknowledgment of this favor we enclose a packet of one of our choicest varieties, and we ask you to accept this with our compliments, even though you do not care to send the addresses of several friends. It is our desire to be of service to your friends as well as to you, and we feel sure that they would appreciate some of the Burpee garden literature.

Whenever we can be of service to you, please feel free to call on us. And just one word about this present season. Because of the scarcity of labor, farmers in general are growing enough food crops. The supply of food will be short and food prices may be very high. We would advise you to grow all the vegetables you can in your garden this year.

Faithfully,
