The following pages Nos.1,2,3,4,5,& a part of the 6th to line like this [[wavy line]] taken from pages 202,203,204,205,206 & part of 207 [Vol.2 Brydges "Restituta", a work published in London 1815, loaned to me by Mr Bourton 481 Broadway N.Y.

The right hand columns of pages 6,7,8&9 are extracted from said "Restituta", while the left hand columns of said pages are from Hakluyt, published in 1589.

From the commencement (page 1) to line thus [[wavy line]] page 6 the orthography, punctuation, line for line,& page for page, save 6th, of "Restituta" adopted.

Why there should be such a discrepancy (as there surely is) between the history as written by Dyonise Settle, or, rather as his history of Frobisher's 2d Expedition is recorded in Haklutyt,1589, & in "Restituta", I cannot well imagine. The discrepancies [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] exist [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] in the columns of pages 67,8&9 of this Book.
