TRUSTEE'S MEETINGS

Meetings of the Board of Trustees were held upon the following dates:

May 6, 1919; October 7, 1919; December 2, 1919; and February 9, 1920.

At the annual meeting on May 6, 1919, the following officers were elected:

Chairman, George G. Heye
Vice-Chairman, Harmon W. Hendricks

Members of the Executive Committee to serve until the annual meeting in 1923:

George G. Heye, and
Harmon W. Hendricks

At the meeting of the Board of Trustees on December 2, 1919, Mr. J. Amory Haskell presented his resignation as a trustee, which the Board accepted with regret, at the same time expressing its appreciation of Mr. Haskell's services to the Museum.  Mr. Haskell's resignation left a vacancy in the Board of Trustees which the Grantor has not yet filled by appointment under the Foundation Deed.

GUARANTEE AGREEMENT

Under the agreements of May 14, 1918, and October 1, 1918, between the Board of Trustees of the Museum and the Grantor, confirmatory and supplemental to the agreement of guarantee dated May 10, 1916, the Museum has received a payment of $1,063.80 on April 1,1919, and payments of $5,000 each on July 1, 1919, October 1, 1919, and January 1, 1920.

On July 22, 1919, the Grantor deposited with the United States Trust Company, in accordance with the provisions of the Guarantee Agreement and as collateral security for the performance thereof, 369 shares of Standard Oil Company of New York and 121 shares Standard Oil Company of Indiana and on October 3, 1919, similarly deposited 96 shares Standard Oil Company of California and 191 shares Ohio Oil Company.
