TRUSTEES' MEETINGS

At the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees held on May 4, 1926, Mr. George G. Heye was re-elected Chairman, and Mr. Harmon W. Hendricks, Vice-Chairman, and Mr. Frederic K. Seward member of the Executive Commitee to serve until the annual meeting in the year 1929. The Chairman, as Director of the Museum, together with Messrs. Harrington, Hodge, Orchard and Saville, were appointed the Staff Committee to serve until the next annual meeting.

In addition to the annual meeting, the Board of Trustees have held regular meetings upon the following dates: on October 5, 1926, which was adjourned to October 26 through lack of a quorum, on December 7, 1926, and February 1, 1927.

There has been no change in the personnel of the Board of Trustees since the last annual meeting.

At the meeting of the Trustees held on October 25, 1926, the budget for the fiscal year of 1927-1928 was presented and adopted in the sum of one hundred thirty-five thousand, three hundred eighty-eight and 73/100 ($135,388.73) dollars and provision was made for meeting the budget through subscriptions on the part of the members of the Board of Trustees.

At the meeting in held on February 1, 1927, a Special Committee of the Board reported upon the completion of the negotiations with the Estate of Commander Charles Phillips Eaton for the establishment of the Harriet Phillips Eaton Fund as part of the endowment of this institution. An agreement between this institution and Mrs. Frances B. Eaton, the executrix, was authorized at the meeting and been put into effect under terms of which the
