[[start page]] SIZE OF COLLECTIONS There have been added to the collections during the past fiscal year 6,773 specimens; and there are now in the entire collection catalogue entries running consecutively to 184,564, an increase during the year of 2,455. DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL ANTHROPOLOGY This department remains under the direction of Dr. Bruno Oetteking, who although he receives no salary from the Museum, still continues work in his department. During the year crania and skeletal material have been received from Vermont, New Jersey, New York, Cuba, Honduras and Peru.
