"For Prize Contest"

Four years ago I came to a Suburban Home from the city with very little knowledge of seeds, plants or growing things, and quite a dislike for the country.

Reading the magazines I noticed Seed Catalogue advertisements and without knowing any thing about them I fortunately sent for Burpee's. On receiving the Catalogue I became interested and almost wore out the book trying to decide what I wanted.

I choose Sweet Peas, Zinnias, Snap Dragons, and a few other flowerseeds, and several vegetables, among which was lima beans.

We had good ground, Good Seed, and our first year was wonderfully encouraging for we had the finest flowers, and the best garden in the Community, and every one asked the same question; "Where did you get your Seeds.

Every year we plant more and are now talking Farm and Chickens, so in these four years I have learned many, many
