"For Prize Contest"

What Burpee's Seeds Have Done for Me

Burpee's Seeds have given me "Hope" "Joy" "Satisfaction". First I had "Hope", then "Joy" when the seeds came through the ground 100%. Tomatoes in six days, Cabbage in two, and how they grew.

I am convinced that for Nursery Plants, "BURPEE'S" are the seeds for success. At/ten days to two weeks we transplanted to paper cups, and in [[strikethrough]] se [[/strikethrough]] seven weeks had tomato plants eight to ten inches high to set out. Then came "Satisfaction" absolute surety of rewardfor planting.

I have grown Ricinus for the first time in many years of trial, and have plants now larger than those in the show beds in the Parks.

The Portulaca has the most wonderful blooms, three times as large as any I have ever seen, and my Sweet Alyssum [[strikethrough]] is [[/strikethrough]] border is two feet wide and a solid mass of blossoms.

I knew Burpee's Seeds were superior, but they have surprised me,, surpassing in production and quality of flower and fruit, any I have seen.

The practically 100% fertility of the seeds is to me a marvelous thing, assuring success to all who will give proper attention and care to the plants.

Burp's Seeds undoubtedly give, "Joy and Satisfaction."

Very Sincerely,
Mrs. D/. C. Tremaine,
